[Note: It was up, then it came down, now it's back up again. I can almost guarantee this is a clean copy of the show. Enjoy!]
Dave here again with my second edit and write up of the podcast. I promise there will be no Canadian hating in this episode. I think. I don’t know, I’m sure I’ll piss off Goon with something I say. This week we talked about G.I. Joe, Martyrs, and a whole bunch of other stuff. On with the post!
~~ Show Notes ~~
00:00:00 – Intro
• A kinder, gentler introduction this week. Thanks, Chad!
00:7:40 – G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
• Andrea and James lead the conversation about how hot the woman in this movie are. Dave can’t really argue against that. Three Yes reviews all around.
00:39:30 – Martyrs
• Gah, this was a 180 for damn sure. Only Dave and James watched this one; Andrea should be glad she didn’t. Two No reviews.
01:05:00 – Whatcha’ Watchin?
• Thanks to Greg from Film Junk for recommending Man vs. Food. It’s pretty good.
• Andrea saw Julie and Julia. It made her hungry.
• James watched a whole lot of movies including Valkyrie, Hated, and, ugh, Dear Zachery.
• We went ahead and hyped District 9 before seeing it. For me, at least, it did not disappoint, but that’s for Ep 49.
02:22:25 – Goodbyes

I decided to see In the Loop instead of G.I. Joe this week, and it was fucking hilarious.
I actually found Dear Zachery to be pretty heartbreaking, I knew what the guy the was doing too, but when it got to the end I was almost brought to tears.
Cool story, bro.
Well, you know, I do my best. But seriously if you have a chance to see In the Loop, see it.
Fuckity-bye.
In the Loop finally comes out here friday, cant wait.
Probably can’t listen until a day or two – James didn’t like Dear Zachary? So I’m not alone?
Do I escape this podcast without a callout for GI Joe? Or am I second fiddle to Campea bashing?
James didn’t dislike it, neither did Andrea. The “ugh” is there because, well, I am the author of this post and I didn’t really like what James had to say about the film.
You get a mention but not during the GI Joe talk nor is there any You Know Who talk this week. It’s an otherwise boring show.
listened to the ‘what we watched’ section – yep, James totally spoiled the whole thing
– thanks for having the psychic wisdom to put one of my favorite mashups of all time underneath the DZ discussion (PartyBen’s Tegan & Sara vs. Mylo mash)
Hi back Andrea!
