My Star Wars Fandom: The Numbers Don’t Lie

Seven Movie releases.
Two I love.
One I like well enough.
Three I hate.
One I refuse to see.
How can I call myself a fan if I only like 42.85% of the primary product?

You also won 3 Star Wars CCG tournaments back in the day. Nerdom status confirmed.

I stopped caring after Phantom Menace, I did see the other 2 out sheer what the hell. If I can sit threw a double feature of Mosquito and Mansquito on the Sci Fi Channel, I can sit through the crapping prequels.

I feel exactly the same way about the Police Academy franchise!

Don’t we all.
Et Tu, Guttenburg? *sigh*

I’ve long held the opinion that The Gut just needs the tender touch of a good role in a Tarantino movie, but then I read this ego-wank profile piece of him online recently in which he pontificated on and on about “the industry” and talked about the upcoming POLICE ACADEMY 8 (where original cast members are “mentors” to new recruits etc) as if it was “art” and I just thought that was my support well and truly burnt out!
Let’s concentrate on Selleck instead!

PS
For those thinking I’m being a little OTT in my initial support of The Gut then check out his work in the original UNCUT version of Police Academy AND that late 80s Curtis Hanson movie, the name escapes me (something about “window”) — the dude had a ‘degree’ of talent!
For a while!
