Err, Twitch has the goods…

Jaa is directing this one, its got action, probably ridiculously cheesy but fun - like the last. Please Mr. Jaa, don’t come to America to make films. They will ruin you like they did Jackie Chan and Jet Lee. (Can you tell I recently saw Shanghai Noon?) Link.

Yah, this looks pretty slick. I’m not much for martial arts films these days, but I’ll definitely check out anything featuring Tony Jaa.

    I love those Shanghai movies!

    (sorry)

This looks ‘okay’ but, as sequels go, it doesn’t seem to have too much to do with the first one does it?

Then again, you can’t really tell can you as this is just a fight-reel!

I like them as well, Gazz - for what they are. I just miss the old Jackie Chan films from across the ocean, the ones that didn’t have Chaplin tributes embedded in them and focused more on truly badass stunts and amazing fight choreography.

And from what I’ve heard, you’re right - this one has very little to do with the first - which is ok with me. The story in the first was never the attraction anyway.

Really? It wasn’t the story for you James? Come on, admit it:

“Give me back my statue’s head!!!”

    “No!”

    “I kick you in face!”

    “Oh… Okay!”

That shit made THE DARK KNIGHT look like BATMAN & ROBIN!
