Actually the U.S. cut is the one that is a minute longer. But yeah, there is suppose to be quite a few deleted scenes for this one. Tarantino mentioned something about using them for a prequel, but that of course just Tarantino being Tarantino.

Well, we claim to be accurate but that’s about as right as claiming to be the official home of correct movie opinions. Anyway, with this movie, Tarantino has earned a lot more slack to run his mouth. If he could tone it down he would be a true god among geeks.

What I really loved about the movie was the Tarantino was kinda doing a reverse Leone in it, using the dialogue instead of silence to ramp up the tension.

A little behind on my podcasts, but I like the Big Brother thing. No Giovanni Campea? That would’ve been an interesting dynamic.
Also, James is right. RGM is easily in the top 3 movies of 2008.

Oops. I spoke too soon. Apparently James doesn’t like it enough. It does not drag. It is utterly compelling from start to finish. Mostly due to the characters and the actors creating them – particularly Anne Hathaway, Rosemary DeWitt and

@Andrew James – There are definitely things to like in RGM, and I probably need to watch it again. Good performances, unique visual style. In the end though, I don’t think the base content was made for me. I respect it for taking chances in a genre where it could have easily been Stepmom though, so there’s that.
