OMG! Snake Eyes Pics From G.I. Joe!!

How freakin’ cool is this? They’ve definitely got the look right for my favorite cartoon-toy-promotion from the ’80’s. Also, don’t forget that it is Darth Maul himself, Ray Park, under the costume.

Admittedly, I’m a bit late on this pic (the flu’s a bitch), which was posted last Thursday on AICN. Longtime Joe comic writer Larry Hama, who is consulting on the film, sent in an additional photo. Follow the link to see, as well as a bigger version of the above image.

In other Joe news, rumors are that Cobra Commander is indeed in the film, and will perhaps be played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, that kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun (eh?).

  5. Jere Dumpe says:

In “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” released in 2009, the world was in danger because of a substance called nanomite that could be put on the head of nuclear warheads, allowing them to melt metal and cause more destruction. The plan to launch a set of nuclear warheads was thwarted, but apparently, not for good. In 2012’s “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” the nanomite-laced warheads are back. Only this time, the nefarious shadow group called Cobra plans to use a new program to induce global domination with the nukes. They don’t care how many lives they have to take, and they blow up the entire city of London to prove that they mean business. -*
